MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code
Let your AI assistant deploy, debug and fix your app.
Orbiitl deploys your GitHub repos to a server you own, and your coding assistant can see why a deploy failed, fix it and redeploy without you opening a dashboard.

How it works
From repo to live URL in three steps
-
Connect GitHub and your server
Sign in with GitHub, then run one install command on an Ubuntu 22.04+ or Debian 12+ VPS with 2 GB of RAM and ports 80 and 443 open.
-
Orbiitl reads the repo
It works out the framework, port and build steps from files like
package.jsonandrequirements.txt. A Dockerfile is used as written. -
Push to deploy
It builds a container, checks it's healthy and serves it over HTTPS. Every
git pushafter that redeploys on its own.
The install command from Servers → Add Server looks like this. The dashboard fills in your real server ID and a one-time token.
curl -fsSL https://app.orbiitl.in/install.sh | sudo SERVER_ID=<id> AGENT_TOKEN=<one-time-token> API_BASE_URL=https://app.orbiitl.in sh
AI assistants
Your assistant already knows your code. Now it can see your deploys.
Orbiitl has an MCP server, so Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other assistants that speak the Model Context Protocol can work with your account from inside your editor.
Things you can ask
- "Why did my last deploy fail?"
- "Redeploy my-app from the latest commit."
- "Show me the logs for the staging deploy."
- "Set DATABASE_URL on production and restart it."
- "Are my servers healthy?"
It can deploy any branch or commit, follow status and logs, stop or restart a project, set environment variables and check server health.
Built so you can trust it
-
Scoped token. It acts with your account's permissions and only sees your own projects.
-
Write-only secrets. It can set environment variables but can never read them back.
-
Revoke instantly. Delete the token in the dashboard and access stops straight away.
Set it up in a minute
- In the dashboard, go to Settings → API Tokens and create a token. It starts with
pat_and is shown once. - Add Orbiitl to your assistant. In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http orbiitl https://app.orbiitl.in/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer pat_..."
Cursor, VS Code and other clients take a JSON config:
{
"mcpServers": {
"orbiitl": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://app.orbiitl.in/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer pat_..." }
}
}
}
Compare
Why not just use a hosted platform, or a free self-hosted tool?
Both are good choices for a lot of people. Here is what Orbiitl does differently, so you can decide.
If you use Vercel or Render
Keep the push-to-deploy, own the server
- Your apps run on a VPS you rent, from any provider.
- One flat monthly price for Orbiitl, with no per-build, per-seat or per-GB fees.
- Your code and containers stay on hardware you control.
- Stop paying and your apps keep running. Only auto-deploy pauses.
If you're looking at Coolify or Dokploy
Self-hosting, without a panel to look after
- The control plane is run for you. Only a small, self-updating agent lives on your server.
- Built for AI assistants: your editor can deploy, read logs and fix failed deploys over MCP.
- Failed deploys come with a plain-English reason next to the raw logs.
- Health-checked deploys and one-click rollback to any commit.
- A real person answers support email.
Features
Everything you need to keep apps running
The things you'd normally pay a hosting platform for, on a server you control.
Safe deploys
Tests run before the build. A new version only goes live once it passes its health check, so a broken build never takes over. Roll back to any commit in one click.
Monorepos and environments
Folders like frontend/ and backend/ become separate services, with the frontend's API_URL wired up for you. Run staging and production side by side.
Workers, cron and Redis
Run background workers from the same build, schedule commands with cron, and switch on Redis with one toggle.
Logs and alerts
Watch builds live, see the last 30 minutes of request logs, and get an email when a deploy fails. Errors come with a plain-English reason.
Security
Environment variables are encrypted. Keep internal services off the public internet, and backend secrets out of frontend code.
Domains and HTTPS
Every app gets a certificate that's issued and renewed for you. Use custom or wildcard domains, or serve an API at /api on your frontend's domain.
Security
What runs on your server
Orbiitl has two parts: a control plane that reads repos and plans deploys, and a small agent on your server. The agent can't be asked to run arbitrary commands.
- A fixed set of actions. Deploy, stop, restart and remove. Nothing else.
- Apps are isolated. Each runs with resource limits and no direct access to the host.
- Secrets are encrypted. GitHub tokens and environment variables are encrypted at rest. Clone tokens stay in memory and are never logged.
- Your code stays with you. Builds and containers run on hardware you control.
Pricing
A flat price that stays small next to your VPS bill
You pay your VPS provider for the server. Orbiitl is one monthly price on top, with no charge per build, per seat or per gigabyte.

Who's behind it
Built by one developer who answers his own email
Hi, I'm Kunwar Singh Kataria. I'm building Orbiitl so that putting an app on your own server feels as easy as a hosted platform, and so your AI assistant can help when a deploy breaks.
If something breaks or you have an idea, email me. I read every message and I reply myself.
FAQ
Questions people ask
How is this different from Coolify?
Coolify and Dokploy are good, free self-hosted tools. Orbiitl takes a different approach: the control plane is run for you, and only a small, self-updating agent lives on your server. It's also built for AI assistants: over MCP, your editor can deploy, read logs and fix a failed deploy. Failed deploys come with a plain-English reason, new versions only go live after a health check, and a real person answers support email.
Is this production-ready?
It's built for production apps: tests run before each build, a new version only goes live after it passes its health check, and you can roll back to any commit in one click. It's also a young product made by one developer, so email me if anything looks wrong and I'll help.
What if you shut down?
Your apps run in containers on your own server, so they keep running. What stops is auto-deploy from Orbiitl. Your code stays in GitHub and the server stays yours.
Which languages and frameworks are supported?
Next.js, Express and other Node.js apps, Django, FastAPI, Flask and Streamlit, front-ends built with Vite or Create React App, and plain HTML/CSS/JS sites. If your repo has its own Dockerfile, it's used exactly as written. If Orbiitl can't tell how to build something, it tells you instead of guessing.
Do I need to write a Dockerfile?
No. Orbiitl works out the build from your project files. If you already have a Dockerfile, it's used instead.
Can I deploy docker-compose stacks?
Not yet. Each service runs one main app container, plus optional worker commands and a Redis instance. If your repo has a frontend and a backend in separate folders, Orbiitl deploys them as separate services without needing a compose file.
Do I need my own domain?
For HTTPS, yes: add a wildcard domain and every app gets its own subdomain and certificate. If you just want to try something out, you can skip the domain and reach the app on your server's IP and a port instead (plain HTTP).
Can I have a staging copy of my app?
Yes. Add an environment to the project, point it at a branch like staging, and give it its own environment variables. It runs alongside production with its own URL.
What happens if a deploy fails?
Your current version keeps running. The new build only replaces it once it passes your tests (if you set a test command) and its health check. You get an email, a plain-English reason and the full logs.
Do I pay for the server too?
Yes, separately, to your own VPS provider. Orbiitl never bills you for the server.
Push your next deploy, and let your assistant handle the rest
Connect a repo, add a server, and see your app live in a few minutes.
